Brahmavar Police Apprehend Six Suspects in Connection with Severed Cow Head Incident

Udupi: Brahmavar police have arrested six individuals in connection with the case involving a severed cow head and skin discovered in the Kunjalu area, within the Brahmavar police station’s jurisdiction. The announcement was made today by Udupi District Police Superintendent Hariram Shankar at a press conference held at the Udupi District Police Office.

The arrested suspects have been identified as Ram (49), Prasad (21), Naveen (35), Keshava Naik (50), Sandesh (35), and Rajesh (28), all residents of Kunjalu village. According to police reports, the accused purchased a cow, proceeded to slaughter it, and was transporting the remains via scooter when the cow’s head and other parts were dislodged onto the roadway.

Authorities were able to identify and apprehend the suspects through a review of CCTV footage. One additional suspect remains at large, and police have indicated that efforts to locate and apprehend the individual are ongoing.
