Car Hits Electric Pole after Tyre Burst in Udupi
Udupi: A Scorpio car rammed into an electric pole at the City Bus-stand here during the wee hours of July 13.
According to sources, the driver of a rented Scorpio car on its way to Manipal from Malpe lost control over the vehicle, hit an electric pole and overturned after experiencing a burst tyre.
The injured persons were shifted to the hospital by the locals. The police are yet to ascertain the identity of the injured persons.
The vehicle was shifted from the road with the help of a crane. The MESCOM officials replaced the damaged electric pole and are working to restore the power.
Udupi Traffic Police have visited the spot and have registered a case.
