Case Filed Against Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat for Inciting Speech

Bantwal: A formal complaint was filed against RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat at the Bantwal Rural Police Station on Monday alleging an inciting speech.

The complaint arises from statements made by Bhat during a condolence meeting held on May 12 at the Madwa Palace Wedding Hall in Kavulpaduru village. The event was held in remembrance of Suhas Shetty, who had a known history of criminal activity.

Authorities contend that Bhat’s remarks were provocative, potentially harmful to public health, and capable of inciting hostility between religious groups.

The case has been registered under FIR No: 60/2025, Section 353(2) of the BNS Act, due to concerns regarding potential disruptions to law and order within the district. Police officials have stated that further legal action will ensue.
