CCB Police Arrest Drug Peddler while Selling MDMA
Mangaluru: The CCB Police arrested a person while he was selling MDMA (Methylene Dioxy methamphetamine) in his car to the public at Mudipu on July 28.
The arrested has been identified as Muhammad Arif alias Arif(28), from Nalikeda Gudde Mane, Boliyar, Ullal.
On July 28, after getting reliable information that a person was selling MDMA (Methylene Dioxy methamphetamine) at Mudipu. The CCB police raided the spot and arrested Muhammad. The police seized 25 grams of MDMA worth Rs 1.25 Lakh, a Maruti Alto car, a mobile phone and a digital weighing scale all worth Rs 6.35 lakh from his possession.
A case has been registered in this regard at the Konaje police station and the search is on for others involved in the network of selling drugs.
A cattle theft case was also registered earlier against Muhammad at the Konaje police station.
The operation was carried out by CCB Police Inspector Shyam Sundar HM, PSI Rajendra B, Sudeep MV, Sharanappa Bhandari, Narendra and staff.
