CHD Group observes World Environment Day 2019 at Mangalore Prison
Mangaluru: CHD Group, a public health organization headquartered in Mangalore observed World Environment Day on 5th June 2019 along with ISIRI Healthy India Mission at Mangaluru District Prison by planting saplings and plants inside the jail premises.
Mr. Chandan Patil, SP of District Prison, Mangaluru, spoke a few words about how the environment can be protected and pollution can be prevented, followed by environmental awareness talks by Mr. Darshan Jain, President of ISIRI Healthy India Mission, and Akshatha Jain, Member of ISIRI Healthy India Mission.
Divya Kamath, Manager, CHD Group organized the program, Kavitha Maurya, Headmistress, Canara English Higher Primary School and students from Canara English Higher Primary School, participated in the event.
Jevince Pais, Cynthia Irene, Deepak, Rashmi Shekhar from CHD Group team were others present for the function.
