Coast Guard KG School Day Celebration

 

Mangaluru: Coast Guard Kindergarten School, Kunjathbail, organised the Annual Function amid great enthusiasm, vibrancy and elation within the scenic location of Coast Guard Residential Area, Kunjathbail. The function begun in a traditional way by invoking Goddess of Knowledge Saraswathi with a theme ‘Utsav’. Through dance performance and songs, the tiny-tots displayed their diverse talents. Principal Smt Saritha Manohar presented CG KG School annual report in function and shared all achievements of the school in session 2018 19. Through different performances, students shared a message of spark of flame of love & knowledge.

DIG SS Dasila, TM Commander Coast Guard Karnataka while speaking on the occasion as chief guest emphasized that child of course is the focal point of our life. Dasila added it is said that if there is anything that you can give to your children is TIME, No amount of physical compensations can replace your position or cannot give that happiness, that is merely by your presence by their side. Your children need your presence more than your presents.

Coast Guard KG School has been grooming the kindergarten kids since its activation year of 2001. The school registered as per the Karnataka Education Act, 1983 and functions under the aegis of Commander Coast Guard Karnataka. It was initially opened for the benefit of CG personnel staying in and around Kunjathbail area; however, with time, Coast Guard has extended school facilities to locals. Presently more than 70% students are from non-Coast Guard families residing in the and around neighbourhood of Kunjathbail.
