College Student Stabbed by Youth in Derlakatte Responding to Treatment

Mangaluru: Rumours are being spread that the girl who was stabbed by Sushanth in Deralakatte had breathed her last in the hospital on June 29, is far from the truth. The police officers on June 29, confirmed that Diksha is responding to Treatment and her condition is stable.

On June 28, Sushanth from Shaktinagar had stabbed Diksha a number of times. When the locals tried to stop Sushanth, he had cut his throat with the same knife. Sushanth stabbed Diksha several times while she was returning home from college. When the Locals came to rescue Diksha, Sushanth threatened them. Later he cut his throat and mercilessly stabbed Diksha who had fallen to the ground.

When the Ambulance arrived Sushanth had also fallen to the ground after losing quite an amount of blood. A nurse got down from the Ambulance and came to Diksha’s rescue. She pulled Sushanth away and the locals immediately shifted Diksha to the ambulance and to the hospital. Later Sushanth was also shifted to the hospital.

Today, June 29 morning, there were media reports that Diksha had succumbed to injuries in the hospital without responding to treatment which is far from the truth. A police officer speaking to mangalorean.com said, “Diksha has been responding to the treatment, spreading false rumours about her death will affect our investigation process. He also requested the media not to mislead the people with wrong information.

Sushanth who is a dance teacher was teaching dance to Diksha. Love failure is the reason behind the cruel act.

A case has been registered in the Ullal police station.
