Commemorating 150 Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji
Mangaluru: In commemoration of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji, SDM College of Business Management Post Graduate Centre for Management Studies and Research, Mangaluru, had a month-long celebration by conducting various events under National Integration Forum.
The celebrations started on October 2nd with the felicitation of Bhojaraja Hegde Padangadi, freedom fighter and Gandhian follower who hoisted the national flag to mark the occasion.
Several competitions on the theme of Gandhian Principles were held which included Elocution, How well do you know Mahatma – Quiz, collage competition and Replicating Nation builders, Patriotic song competition and variety entertainment among others.
The month-long celebrations concluded on 31st October 2018 with Jagannath Devadiga, Harshitha Devadiga of Revelation Studio Inc. and Sathvika Rai, Asst. Professor, Department of PG studies in Commerce, Besant Evening college, as the guests for the occasion.
Dr. Seema S. Shenoy, Director, SDM PG Centre, was the president on the occasion. Dr. Harshitha K, Asst. Professor and Students Rakshith Shetty, Karthik Shetty, Shivani Chandrashekar, Tripthi and Harshith Rai coordinated the program.
