Corona Warriors Appreciated for Creating Awareness by Crossing Dangerous Bridge in Atrinje

Belthangady: Corona warriors serving around the world risking their lives are commended for their service in a number of ways. A similar incident happened in Belthangady when a Nurse, along with an Asha worker, crossed a dangerous wooden bridge to create awareness among the people of the Scheduled tribes living in the forest areas.

Six families of Schedule tribe live in the Atrinje area that is located in Sulkeri Village, Belthangady. The Nurse Preethi, along with Asha worker Hemalatha, crossed the dangerous wooden bridge laid over the roaring river to create awareness among the people of the community about COVID-19.

The families there have no proper basic facilities and are not ready to come out of the forest.

As soon as the news reached to the health minister, Sriramulu tweeted and commended Nurse Preethi and Asha worker Hemalatha for their service.
