Court Issues Arrest Warrant to MP Pratap Simha in Defamation Case
Bengaluru: The Special court for peoples’ representatives has issued an arrest warrant to MP Pratap Simha in connection with a defamation case filed by actor Prakash Rai.
Last year Actor Prakash Rai had filed a defamation case against MP Pratap Simha in the court. The order was issued to MP Pratap on January 21 to appear before the court, but MP Pratap failed to appear before the court on February 23. The court has ordered the Mysuru police commissioner to produce MP Pratap before the court by March 19.
Prakash Rai had filed a defamation suit against MP Pratap for violating his privacy. The next hearing has been postponed to March 19.
