DC Hephsiba Rani inaugurates Poster Exhibition to Ensure Maximum Voting

Udupi: The Department of Information and Public Relations, with an aim of ensuring maximum voter turnout during the elections for Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency, has organised an exhibition at the DC office Udupi.

The three-day exhibition, under the guidance of Udupi district-level Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Committee, began at the DC office on Tuesday, April 9. There are 7,80,388 voters in Udupi District, which has four Assembly constituencies. The District Election Commission has set up 1111 polling stations across the segment.

The Information Department has displayed posters with awareness messages to ensure 100% voting in the Lok Sabha elections. The posters carry the message of C-vigil APP, facilities for seniors citizens for voting, etc.

District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Hephsiba Rani Korlapati inaugurated the poster exhibition by cutting the ribbon.

Additional DC Vidya Kumari, information officer Khader Shah, election expenditure observer Sachin and others were also present.
