Deliberate efforts made to divide Hindu Religion – Pejawar Swamiji

Udupi: Hitting hard on the organizers of Chalo Udupi march, the Swamiji of Pejawar Math Sri Vishwesha Teertha said, “Deliberate efforts are being made to divide the Hindu religion. I have not received any information on Kanaka Nade which is scheduled to be held on October 23 against “Chalo Udupi”, I do not say it is wrong but it should be held peacefully. If anyone enters Sri Krishna Math with the intention of harming us, I will sit on an indefinite fast. Government has to play a role in protecting Sri Krishna Math”. He was addressing the media persons at a press meet held at the Sri Krishna Math on Thursday, October 13.

The march was held to condemn the murder of Praveen Poojary, The Pejawar Swamiji opined that his imaged was maligned during the march and the protestors issued threats of entering Sri Krishna Math. They had also used abusive language against him.

“I am a secular person, I have condemned the murder of Praveen Poojary and continue to condemn the attacks in the name of cow protection”. “ I am even more secular than those intellectuals and politicians as I continue to condemn Muslim and Hindu terrorism”.

I voice for equality, I urge the government to treat Hindus and Muslims equally. Muslims have great respect for me, Christians and Muslims have shown their respect by extending their support and co-operation during the Paryaya. Dalits have special respect and love for me, while I had visited their house they had welcomed me with great love and respect. We don’t expect them to fall at our feet but when they do it out of love we do not refuse. I am the first Swamiji who has spoken against untouchability. I have been working for the upliftment of dalits from 45 years and will continue to work for them.

The anti-Hindu intellectuals do not want to accept the good work I have been doing to unite Muslims and Dalits, their intentions will be defeated.

Many devotees dine together in Sri Krishna Math. Dalits and people from the backward class also join us. The people who joined the Chalo Udupi march have visited Sri Krishna Math. Some Brahmins prefer to sit separately and eat food, it is even in practice in Dharmasthala, Subramanya, Sringeri and other places.

The society is moving towards equality, but efforts being made to divide the people by intellectuals by spreading hatred is condemnable. The intellectuals who say harmony has to be catered are dividing the Hindus.

  1. Only in fake-secular India, majority religious group and its houses of worships are bullied and threatened by activists and self-declared ‘rationalists’. Will they ever talk about real intolerant groups? Never!!

  2. Racist organisations in any religion spread hate, divide people and create social disharmony in the society. They acquire power, dominate the community and exploit religion to make monetary.
Hence the priests of any temple mosque church gurdwara, who is supposed to be neutral, should not join or accept any important positions in these political and racist organisations.
    Handsome is that handsome does.

  3. Only in fake-secular India, majority religious group and its houses of worships are bullied and threatened by ‘Brahmanwadi’s’ is the living example which ask lower class to rollover over leftovers.

They talk about ‘Uniform civil code’.Whereas only few percentage of higher class still subjugate the lower class.

Will they really talk about real intolerant groups in the upper class?

    Jai Hind

  4. In the land of Purandara dasa, Kanakadasa people should realise that if
some group wants to be separate from others is unacceptable. Orthodoxy does not mean separating from others, but to follow some ideals for uplift of society. God never discriminates human beings. When it comes to earning money, they earn money in all the ways they think it is right.

  5. Sheikh is commenting on sanaathana dharma but he doesn’t want uniform civil code!!! He doesn’t want to give respect, dignity and equal rights to women but he is lecturing on a local temple!! Does he know the difference between sthala sampradaaya Vs institutionalized discrimination? Well, I doubt if stenographers and fake intellectuals understand this difference either!! Sad situation!!

    • “…sthala sampradaaaayaaaaa….vrs institutionalized discrimination” – Yumreeki Joker Rampe.

Lol… good one. Blacks getting shot in Yumreeka on ALMOST a daily basis MUST be the most classic example of “Sthala Sampraaadaaaayaaaaaa”. Wah bhai WAH! See, who said you can NEVER learn! NOT me, for sure!

  6. How do you explain quantum physics to a fruit fly? You can’t!! All you can do is to look at the fly and smile at its passion to show off flying skills!! I appreciate Praveena’s effort to participate in debates here! smiles….

    • How do you explain Quantum Physics to a fruit-fly? You can’t! – Yumreeki Rampe who LOVES to think he is some Stephen Hawking or Einstein or Neils Bohr due to his ‘Complicated’ status

      LMAO! Simple.. you SIMPLE don’t!

As I said – a monkey in a fancy tux is STILL a monkey in a Tux. ALL you offer him/her are some peanuts and probably He/she would be gracious enough to pose for a selfie with YOU.

      Artha aandatha Rampa?

  7. Dear Pujya Shri. Swamiji,
Kindly invite a few Daliths to the temple, sit with them and eat your lunch. Show the people you really mean to say that you are treating everyone equally for the last 45 years. Those who want to eat separately, let them find their own place to eat, but do not discriminate by designating separate Punkti for Brahmins or other castes. When Brahmin admits ICU, does he have a choice who can treat him? When he was arrested and interrogated in the Police Station, does he have a choice that only a Brahmin police can beat him up? Or does he have a choice in the Bus, Train, Plaine or in the restaurant to sit separately. If a Brahmin can travel in Mangalore city bus in the peak hours, he can sit with anyone. Why all this Natak.
