Derogatory Comments against Hindu religion, Youth Congress Demands Action

Mangaluru: The district youth congress submitted a memorandum to the police commissioner Chandra Sekhar at his office on September 1, to take strict action against Jabbar B C Road who posted derogatory comments on the social media about Goddess Kateel Durgaparameshwari, which has hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community.

The president of the district youth congress Mithun Rai along with other members approached the police commissioner and submitted the memorandum demanding the arrest of Jabbar B C Road.

Mithun Rai also requested the police commissioner to take action against those who post derogatory comments on the social media which will create communal disharmony. Such comments will also hurt the sentiments of the people in the society. The police should take strict action against the anti-social elements, he said.

Shaul Hameed, Praveen Alva, Merril Rego, Prasad Malli, Suhail Kandak, Avinash Rai and others were also present.
