Dr Sanjeev Patil takes charge as SP of Udupi
Udupi: Dr Sanjeev Patil took charge as the Superintendent of Police of Udupi district here on Thursday, August 10.
He replaces K T Balakrishna, who was transferred as Superintendent of Police Commandant General, and Home Guards, Bengaluru.
Dr Sanjeev Patil transferred from Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) head office located in Bengaluru where he has been serving as SP. Earlier he served at ACB, Patil had also served DCP in Mangaluru Commissionerate limits.
Dr Patil has received the Chief Minister’s Gold Medal in 2013 for his service in the police department. He is one among the 23 KPSC grade officers who were recently promoted as IPS by the state government.
