Eternal story of love set to mesmerize DSF visitors at Romeo and Juliette Les Ballets De Monte-Carlo

Classical ballet performance is choreographed by distinguished French dancer and artistic director Jean-Christopher Maillot

UAE: This Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), residents and visitors are set to fall in love with the timeless story of Romeo & Juliet all over again, as the undying characters of William Shakespeare come to life in a classical ballet performance in Dubai. The spectacle is brought to the city as part of the 20th anniversary celebrations of DSF, organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).

Romeo and Juliette Les Ballets De Mont-Carlo is a unique music and dance attraction choreographed by the distinguished French dancer and artistic director Jean-Christopher Maillot. Featuring one of the most acclaimed ballet companies in Europe, the lively performance will take to stage at Madinat Arena – Madinat Jumeirah on 15, 16 and 17 January at 8:30pm.

Led by 40 professional ballet dancers, the act will unveil the story of Romeo and Juliet in a new, riveting format – capturing the lovers’ eventful story of love, innocence, pride and tragedy. Fans can look forward to enjoying the show with their families as the troupe of skilled artists grip their attention from the beginning till the end with an emotionally stirring dance narrative, to lead them into the beautiful world of Romeo and Juliet.

DSF 2015 celebrates its key pillars of Winning, Shopping and Entertainment by offering more than 150 citywide events, mega attractions and numerous shopping opportunities and winning options for visitors and residents from around the world. The 32-day extravaganza runs until 1 February under the theme “A Journey of Celebrations.”
