Exam fear: Class 12 Student Commits Suicide

Udupi: A 17-year-old boy reportedly committed suicide, for fear of appearing for the Board exam on March 8.

The deceased has been identified Hairsh (17) a native of Shivamogga. He was staying in a rented house near MGM College. He was studying in Class 12 in MGM College Udupi.

According to the police, the student was not confident of scoring good marks in the II PUC Board exams, which will start on March 9, and committed suicide by hanging himself in the house.

His body was sent to the Government Hospital for post mortem.

Udupi Town police visited the spot.
