Fans Throng to see HD Kumaraswamy Son’s Debut Film ‘Jaguar’
Hundreds of fans of Nikhil Kumar, the grandson of former Prime Minister of India, Deve Gowda, and son of former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy throng to Jyothi Talkies, near Ambedkar Circle (Jyothi Circle) to watch his debut film “Jaguar’ on Thursday, 6 October.
Mangaluru: Hundreds of fans of Nikhil Kumar, the grandson of former Prime Minister of India, Deve Gowda, and son of former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy thronged to Jyothi Talkies, near Ambedkar Circle (Jyothi Circle) to watch his debut in the world of cimema with the bilingual film titled “Jaguar’ on Thursday, 6 October. The movie, which is being produced by HD Kumaraswamy’s home production company, Chennambika Films, in Kannada-Telugu bilingual is made at a expenses of nearly Rs. 15 crores.
HD Kumaraswamy has been previously quoted as saying about his 27year-old son, “I am not using films as a foundation to launch the political career of my son. He will not be a hero in a few films and use his popularity to enter politics. Our family has seen enough politics. People complain of dynastic politics, we do not consider politics as our private property”.
The film has been shot in Bengaluru as well as Hyderabad. S.S. Rajamouli’s associate Mahadev has helmed the project and Rajamouli’s father Dr Vijayaprasad has penned the script. The story of the flick is based on “good social message”, and is a romantic action film. It features Nikhil Gowda (Kumar) and Deepti Sati in the lead roles, while Tamannaah made a debut in Kannada-language and will be seen in a special appearance. Music has been composed by S. Thaman and fight scenes are choreographed by Ram-Lakshman masters. Other cast members are -Brahmanandam, Jagapati Babu, Sadhu Kokila, Kavita Radheshyam, Sampath Raj, Adithya Menon, Ramya Krishnan, Vidyullekha ,Raman and Avinash. The film is released worldwide on 6 October 2016.
In December 2015, it was revealed that Nikhil Kumar, son of H. D. Kumaraswamy and grandson of Deve Gowda would be making his acting debut with the film titled “Jaguar” for which the story was written by Vijayendra Prasad. H.D Kumarswamy invited Tollywood actor Pawan Kalyan to attend Audio function.
Leading South Indian musician S Thaman has composed the music,while Manoj Paramahamsa has handled the cinematography and Ruben has edited the film. S Vijayendra Prasad, the writer of blockbusters movies like ‘Baahubali – The Beginning’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, has written the story. The movie has created a positive buzz through its teaser, trailer and audio release. Viewers who had pinned high hopes on the film as it is the launchpad of a former chief minister’s son- the movie lived up to most of viewers expectations. Here are some viewers comments-
