FIR filed against Congress Workers for holding Protest without Permission

Udupi: The Udupi Town Police have taken suo motu action against the Congress workers for organizing a protest against without taking prior permission.

Congress workers organized a protest in front of the Congress Bhavan where they burnt tyres and showed their anguish against the party high command for offering Udupi–Chikkamagaluru MP Seat to the JD(S).

In a complaint, Udupi Town PSI Ravikumar stated that on Thursday night while he was doing the rounds some party workers were staging a protest and burning tyres without permission which caused public nuisance.

A case was registered in the Udupi Town Police Station.
