Fire Breaks Out at Tyre Shop in Bibi Alabi Road, Loss Estimated Rs 15 Lakhs
Mangaluru: Fire broke out at a tyre shop belonging to K C Suresh in Bibi Alabi Road, Bunder on October 16 night.
The incident came to light at 10 pm in the night when passers-by noticed smoke billowing from the Navajeevan Tyre Shop in Bibi Alabi road.
According to the owner of the shop, at around 10:00 pm he received a call informing him about the fire in his shop.
The police and the fire service were also informed. The police and the fire service rushed to the spot and doused the fire. It is suspected that the fire broke out due to an electrical short-circuit.
According to the shop owner, the total loss is estimated to be at around Rs 15 to 20 lakhs.
