Five arrested for Dumping Chicken Waste on Roadside

Mangaluru: The Vittal police have arrested five persons from Kerala for dumping Chicken waste on the side of the road at Alike on July 12.

The arrested have been identified as Mohammed Rafiq (30) from Puttur, Ahamed Gajani (34) from Kozhikode, Saufi (30) from Malaparamba Kerala, Masood (25) from Kozhikode and Mohammed Ziaulla Ansari (20) from Bihar.

According to the police, on July 12, the PDO of Alike Gram Panchayat filed a complaint in the Vittal police station that on July 9, night, chicken waste was dumped from a lorry at Negalaguli, near Alike Gram Panchayat. In this connection, the Vittal police filed a case under section 269, 270, 277 and 278 IPC.

On July 12, the Vittal police ASI and PC Ramesh while checking vehicles at the Saradka Check post found a Goods Tempo bearing registration number KL 65 J 3561 loaded with chicken waste. The police seized the Goods Tempo and a Car bearing number registration number KA 21 M 5646 and arrested the accused.

All the accused were produced before the court.
