Five More Arrested in Kudupu Mob Lynching Case

Mangaluru: The recent arrests of five more individuals in connection with the mob lynching case registered at the Rural Police Station in Mangaluru mark a significant development in the ongoing investigation.

The arrested accused have been identified as Yathiraj, Padavu Meginamane, Sachin from Thiruvail, Vamanjoor, Anil Poojary from Kotimura, Kulshekar Padavu, Sushanth from Kudupu Katte and Adarsh from Kudupu. Earlier, the Mangaluru police arrested 15 accused in this case. These arrests bring the total number of apprehended suspects to twenty.

The identification of the victim as Ashraf, a resident of Pulpalli Village in Wayanad District, Kerala, adds a tragic human dimension to the event. At the same time, the authorities have informed his family and are awaiting their arrival for formal identification.

Further investigation is ongoing to identify the involvement of others in the case and ensure all perpetrators are apprehended at the earliest.
