Four Young Drug Peddlers Arrested, 1.2 kg Ganja Seized
Mangaluru: The special investigation team from ACP Central and the South police arrested four youth in connection with drug peddling at Babugudde, Attavar and seized 1.2 kg of Ganja from their possession on July 12.
The arrested have been identified as Parinith D Amin alias Sagar (23) from Mangaladevi, V S Nikhil (21) from Attavar, Prithvi P Kumar (19) from Bajal, Yekkur and Clevin Saldanha (21) from Valencia.
According to the police, on getting reliable information that some youth are selling Ganja at Babugudde, Attavar, the special investigation team from ACP Central and the Police from South PS raided the place and arrested the youth. The police seized 1.2 kg of Ganja, four two-wheelers, 6 mobile phones and Rs 6000 cash all worth Rs 2 lakh from their possession.
Under the direction of police commissioner Sandeep Patil and the able guidance of DCP Law and order Hanumantharaya, DCP Crime and Traffic Lakshmi Ganesh the operation was carried out by the ACP of Central Bhaskar V B, PSI South Police Manjula and team and special investigation team of ACP Central.
