Gameathon and Hackathon2k19 – Mangalore largest 30 hours coding Hackathon is open

Mangaluru: Dreamathon is an initiative by DreamSoft Innovations in collaboration with Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management to bring together like-minded individuals with a passion for coding and technology and provide a platform for these individuals to display their skill-sets to companies on board.

The inaugural program took place at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management on the 13th of April. It was graced by Anila Andrade, Associate Vice President of Operations at 99games.

Chief Guests for the day Kiran Sham, founder of DifferenTech Solutions, Pradeep Raj, Operational Manager at CEOL and Dr Manjappa Sarathi, Director of Research and Consultancy at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management. A floral welcome and a token of gratitude were handed over to the guests by the organizers.

The inaugural ceremony included the lighting of the lamp by the Guests alongside Sachin Ganesh, Co-founder of DreamSoft Innovations followed by the dignitaries addressing the gathering on various topics like, Future of Game Development and expectations of employers that are hiring graduates, some initiatives taken up by New Age Incubation Network at Sahyadri were also discussed.

At the end of the inaugural ceremony, the theme for both Gameathon and Hackathon were announced and the event was declared open.
