Hejamadi Village Accountant Booked Under POCSO Act
Udupi: 27-year-old village accountant of Hejamadi Gram panchayat and his assistant were booked under the POCSO Act on charges of sexually harassing a minor girl on Tuesday, October 23.
The Arrested have been identified as Kumarswamy (27) a Native of Mandya and his assistant Kishori.
According to the police, the minor girl came in contact with Kumarswamy when he had gone to her house for the correction of property documents. He had taken her mobile number and started to send vulgar messages. The disturbed girl complained the matter to her parents. The girls parents then filed a complaint in the Padubidre police station.
Kumarswamy has been booked under POCSO Act.
