Hindi Mass for migrants celebrated at St. Lawrence Basilica Attur

Karkala: The Hindi Mass for the migrants was celebrated on 1 March 2026 at St. Lawrence Basilica Attur.

The gathering began at 10:30 a.m. with Catechism and choir practice conducted by Br. Sachin. At 11:30 a.m. The Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Sushil.

In his homily, he encouraged the faithful to remain strong in faith despite the struggles of migrant life and to use the holy season of Lent as a time of repentance, renewal, and closer union with Christ.

After the Mass, Rev. Fr. Robin Santhumayer informed them about the upcoming Lenten Retreat for migrants scheduled on Sunday, 29 March. He warmly invited all to participate and make the most of this opportunity for spiritual growth and reconciliation during the Lenten season.

The celebration strengthened unity and faith among the migrant community.
