House Gutted in Fire Mishap at Kote
Udupi: A house owned by Vanaja N K was gutted in a fire at Mattu Duggupadi under the Kote Gramapanchayat limits on Wednesday, February 1 night.
According to sources, On Wednesday night fire broke out accidentally in the house. Locals doused the fire but the major part of the house was already gutted. The loss is estimated to be more than Rs 3 Lakh. Fire tenders rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.
Kote Grama Panchayat president Kishore Kumar Ambadi, Kaup PSI Suma B and ASI Dayanand visited the spot and are assessing the loss.
