Huge Branch of Tree Falls near Mangaladevi, 4 injured
Mangaluru: Four persons were injured after a huge branch of the tree fell in front of Mangaladevi Temple on June 8.
The injured have been identified as Surekha Shetty (53) from Marnamikatta, Pramila Suvarna (49) from Nandigudda, Naveen Madivala (45) from Jeppu Kudpadi and Tejaswini (20) from Marnamikatta.
Due to heavy rain and wind, the huge branch of the tree fell in front of the temple. Four people were injured and have been admitted to various hospitals in the city.
A two-wheeler was also damaged in the incident. Pandeshwar police reached the spot.
