ICBF Bids Warm Farewell to Indian Embassy First Secretary Dr Eish Singhal; Karnataka Sangha Qatar Felicitates Outgoing Official
Doha, Qatar: The Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) organised a farewell ceremony to honour Dr Eish Singhal, First Secretary (Labour & Community Welfare, Visa and OCI) at the Embassy of India, Doha, following the successful completion of his tenure in Qatar.
The event was attended by senior embassy officials, leaders of Indian apex bodies and representatives of various affiliated community organisations. They gathered to express their appreciation for Dr Singhal’s dedicated public service, accessible leadership and consistent support for the Indian expatriate community in Qatar.
Distinguished guests included Mr Sandeep Kumar, Charge d’Affaires and Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM), Embassy of India, and Mr Harish Pandey, First Secretary, Embassy of India, along with members of the management committees of Indian apex bodies and presidents of various community associations.
Karnataka Sangha Qatar, a prominent community organisation under the aegis of the Embassy of India, actively participated in the farewell ceremony.
Representing Karnataka Sangha Qatar, KSQ President Mr Subramanya Hebbagelu; KSQ Advisory Board Member and ICBF General Secretary Mr Deepak Shetty; former ICC President Mrs Milan Arun; KSQ Vice-President Mr Anil Bhasagi; General Secretary Mr Sujith Kumar Hosadurga; and Media and Social Media Secretary Mr Prashant Hiremath felicitated Dr Eish Singhal by presenting him with a traditional Karnataka shawl and conveying their heartfelt wishes for his future endeavours.
During the felicitation, the delegation appreciated Dr Singhal’s active engagement with the community, prompt intervention in welfare-related matters and continued support for socio-cultural and charitable initiatives.
In his farewell address, Dr Eish Singhal expressed his gratitude to ICBF, Karnataka Sangha Qatar and the wider Indian diaspora for their warmth, cooperation and commitment to community welfare throughout his diplomatic tenure in Doha.
