Investigation Process on, No Arrest yet in Suspicious Death of Shiroor Swamiji – IGP Arun Chakravarthi

Udupi: The Western Range IGP Arun Chakravarthi on Tuesday said that No arrest has yet been made in the suspicious death of Shiroor Sri Laxmivara Theertha Swamiji.

He was speaking to media persons after attending the police officers meeting at the SP office on Tuesday, July 24.

“Today I came here to review the investigation process of the Swamiji’s death. The investigation is progress. The police are investigating the case from various angles. Only after obtaining the Post-mortem and FSL report clear information can be given to the media,” he said.

After the meeting, IGP Arun Chakravarthi along with the investigation team visited the Shiroor Moola Math and inspected the investigation process.

District SP Laxman Nimbargi, Investigation team leaders CPI Srikanth, Sampath Kumar, Belliyappa and others were present.
