Kadaba Man Dies After Suicide Attempt Due to Family Distress

Kadaba: Rakesh K.S., a 37-year-old resident of Ulippu in Kutruppady village, Kadaba, has died while undergoing treatment following a suicide attempt on November 19th. Mr. K.S. allegedly ingested a combination of rat poison and an intoxicating substance, driven by distress related to family matters.

Upon discovering Mr. K.S.’s condition, local residents immediately transported him to a nearby hospital. Given the critical nature of his condition, he was subsequently transferred to a private hospital in Mangaluru to receive advanced medical care. Regrettably, despite the diligent efforts of the medical staff, Mr. K.S. succumbed to the effects of the poison on Wednesday.

A formal complaint has been filed with the Kadaba Police by the deceased’s father, Solomon K.S. According to the complaint, Mr. K.S. was profoundly disturbed by the discovery of frequent communication between his wife and an acquaintance of hers. This discovery reportedly caused him significant emotional distress, which ultimately led to his decision to attempt suicide.

The Kadaba Police have officially registered a case based on the complaint submitted by Solomon K.S. An investigation is currently in progress to ascertain the precise circumstances surrounding Mr. K.S.’s death.
