Kannada actors Yash and Radhika Pandit tie the knot in a dream wedding

Bengaluru: Kannada actors Yash and Radhika Pandit got hitched at a private wedding in Bengaluru on Friday. The star couple tied the knot in a traditional Hindu wedding in front of their families, friends and leading actors, filmmakers and powerful leaders of Karnataka. The couple married on a special stage, which was designed by art director Arun Sagar to resemble a Shiva Temple. The couple held week-long wedding rituals in the run-up to the big day as Yash wanted to give his long-time sweetheart her dream wedding.

Actors Ravichandran, Sudeep, Puneeth Rajkumar, Shivarajkumar, Raghavendra Rajkumar, Jayanthi, Bharathi, Anirudh, among other celebrities attended the wedding and blessed the couple. The reports said that Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and former Prime Minister HD Deva Gowada were also invited for the wedding. However, former Chief Minister SM Krishna and legislator Zameer Ahmed were in attendance.

On August 12, Yash and Radhika got engaged in a grand ceremony in Goa. The couple will hold two wedding receptions – on Saturday for the industry friends and relatives, while Sunday’s will be for fans. Yash and Radhika dated for six years after they first came to know each other on the sets of television serial Nandagokul. Yash replaced the lead actor in the serial after the latter walked out of the show.

Later, Yash and Radhika made their film debut together with 2008 film Moggina Manasu. So far the couple have worked in four films together. Their last film was this year’s Santhu Straight Forward, which is loosely based on Simbu’s Vaalu and became a hit at the box office.

Greetings and congratulatory messages have been pouring in for the couple with #YashwedsRadhika becoming the top trend on the social media.
