Karavali Toastmasters Club Installs New Office-Bearers for 2026–2027

Mangaluru: Karavali Toastmasters Club, the region’s first trilingual club, installed its 2026–2027 office-bearers at Lions Ashoka Seva Bhavana, Mangaluru, on July 7.

 

Area Director Fiona Pinto administered the oath of office as President Anushree Shetty and her newly elected team pledged their commitment to the organization. The executive committee includes Amlin Deepthi Roche (Vice President – Education), Prashanth Shetty (Vice President – Membership), Shreya V.M. (Vice President – Public Relations), Radhika Shetty (Secretary), Raghavendra Mogaraya (Treasurer), Mohammed Issam (Sergeant-at-Arms), and Immediate Past President Sophia Zacharias.

The chief guest, CA Anwesh Shetty, a Chartered Accountant and Managing Partner of Anwesh Shetty Chartered Accountants (ASCA), emphasized the importance of understanding the audience when preparing a speech. Drawing on practical examples, he encouraged members to tailor their messages to suit their audience for more effective communication.

The club also celebrated a significant milestone by earning the Smedley Distinguished Club recognition for the 2025–2026 Toastmasters year. Division Director Lyra Pinto inducted the new members and encouraged them to embark on a journey of communication, leadership, and personal growth through Toastmasters.

Earlier, Amlin Deepthi Roche presented the club’s annual report, highlighting its achievements over the past year. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Praveen Udupa.
