  1. Nothing will change. Politicians from all these parties are corrupt and power-hungry. Karnataka will continue to look like a thirdcword country without any decent infrastructure

  3. There are many good things to be said about the West, the reason they have been developed in the last century.
In the West, the local elections such as this are hardly a mainstream event. People on their way to work or on their way back visit the local polling station to cast their vote (that too if they choose to) and soon there will be counting and the following morning there will be some news coverage to analyse the results. That’s it. Nobody gets extra holiday or has a reason to get worked up over it for months. None of the State machinery comes to a grinding halt just for the polling reason. In other words, nobody spends such massive resources or wastes times on such silly elections. There is strict monitoring of how much money people spend on campaigns.

Contrast this with what is happening on our turf. Every insignificant election is projected as a major political event in people’s lives, the parties spend millions on canvassing and creating media buzz. The same campaign money would likely have been stolen by the political parties through various scams and people seems to be really happy about it. The same money could have been spent on something constructive, improving crumbling infrastructure or for that matter, these time-wasters’ labour could have been utilised for something good for the society. In India (particularly in our state) whenever there is a election (be it local, state or national), for the whole of the quarter the government machinery stops their daily work. For any work you want to do in a government office, they cite election duty as the excuse. Even the legislature does not work as it should. But does anyone even bother to look at it that way? That’s why we continue to be a banana republique of the highest order.

Sir, The citizens of Karnataka is at least now taking sigh of relief by ousting illicit Mine sponsored ‘operation kamala’ born BJP run from resorts.Despite 3 CM and 2 Deputy CM running the office in parallel and ministers addicted x-rated films in the sanctity of the house.

Our Original atheist pai who landed the shores of ‘Silicon valley’ from the success, now forget the IT contribution of Congress in Karnataka. While enjoying the luxury from the Dollar bills, now he is comparing his own ‘Kannda mata’ became third world country.

Well he need to self prescribe his ‘Ajeerna tablet’, who has cramped his spine from ‘Taqiyya’ while reading the RSS guruji’s ‘Bunch of thoughts’. To my surprise his party still attributes to those leaders who are addicted to x-rated films and some even as an actor’s.Is BJP does posses some good leaders, who can give least to ‘minimum government, maximum governance’ to deliver ‘Aache din’?

Sir,A political ally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was shouted down on Tuesday by a crowd angered by rioting in Haryana that destroyed businesses, paralysed transport and cut water supplies to metropolitan Delhi.

The chief minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar was heckled by local people in the town of Rohtak after they objected to his comments promising that they would receive compensation.

Modi has remained silent through the worst social unrest of his 20 months in office.Disruption has been huge, with at least 850 trains cancelled, 500 factories closed and business losses estimated at as much as $5 billion by one regional lobby group. India’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki, shut two factories at the weekend because its supply of components was disrupted.

Now PM Modi’s ‘Good governance’ is finally bowed to Jat violence. If student in university those who are shouting will be booked under sedition charges. Now Patidar agitation will be boosted with Jat reservation. Will Modi’s government will cut a deal young Patidar leader with 1,200 crores package or continued push behind bar like JNU student leader Kanhiya.

After all, it’s Haryana, a BJP ruled state, not West Bengal where a non-BJP party is at the helm.
TV channels who made incidents in which no person was killed in the past, a national issue, were no long passing judgments about ‘anti-national’ agitation or ‘war against state’.

Even though army was attacked and the agitation affected water supply to Delhi, it was not ‘anti-State’ in media. Such was the anger among protesters that for probably the first time, Army was seen carrying placards of ‘Army’.

Who are the masterminds of Jat violence in Haryana: No names, no arrests, no anti-nationals though property worth Rs $5 destroyed? No search for ‘masterminds’,no arrest of culprits:words like ‘anti-nationals’ or ‘antaki’ is not used in Haryana.

To surprising Army in action less than 24 hours, while in ‘Godhra Model’ it surprising 3 days. Now Rajdeep Sardesai may take sigh of relief is not alone got heckled. Is Times Now Arnab Goswami is meditation? Will show his same hysteria for anti state violence in the name of reservation?

This huge cyber army is now capable of making any non-issue into an issue. Not just the ‘paid cyber army’ but also the right-wing supporters, who number in thousands (may be even more), are suddenly in action, when there is any such incident.
