Kukkehalli Girl Rakshitha Nayak Suspicious Death, Lover Arrested
Udupi: The Udupi Town Police on October 31 arrested the live-in partner Prashanth Kundar(24) in connection with the suspicious death of Rakshitha Nayak of Kukkehalli.
As per the complaint given by the Girls father, Rakshitha and Prashanth were lovers, and Prashanth had a physical relationship with Rakshitha due to which she became pregnant. Later Prashanth forced her to undergo an abortion.
Based on the complaint of Rakshitha’s father, the Town Police arrested Prashanth. Prashanth was produced before the court and sent to police custody for further investigations.
On October 24, Rakshitha attempted to commit suicide by hanging her self. She was admitted to a private hospital in Udupi by Prashanth. On the same night, Rakshitha breathed her last. Since then, Prashanth had gone missing, and his mobile was also switched off. Now the Police arrested Prashanth and investigation is on.
