Kuwait’s SFX Boys Donate to Mangalore’s ‘Humanity’

Kuwait: St. Francis Xavier (SFX) Boys Goa/Kuwait have handed over a cheque of Rupees One lakh towards charity, recently.

The cheque was presented to ‘Humanity’ – a charitable trust in Mangalore collecting funds and using it in projects to help downtrodden families and children.

Lawry Pinto (Kuwait) – founder of Gulf Voice of Mangalore presented the cheque on behalf of SFX Boys to Roshan Belman – a musician and anchor who along with his friend Mervin has been carrying out several noble deeds through ‘HUMANITY’.

The popular Boys have also donated a sum of KD1000/- towards the construction of Bahrain Cathedral, as proceeds from funds raised through Lorna’s musical show organized in Kuwait recently.


In the past, since the year 2010, SFX Boys – Kuwait, have organized 4 Football tournaments and 2 mega Musical Shows (including 2018) for charity.

Since then, they have contributed a sum of Rs 17,85,000/- towards the welfare of various Charity Homes and Institutions in Goa and Mangalore.

– Trust of Nano Nagle School – Shirvodem, Goa – Rs. 2,00,000/-
– Missionaries of Charity, Cuncolim Goa – Rs. 2,00,000/-
– Shirva Welfare Association, Udupi Mangalore – KD500/-
– Seminary of Our Lady, Saligao – Pilerne, Goa – Rs. 1,10,000/-
– Tulu Koota Kuwait, Mangalore – Rs. 1,00,000/-
– Handmaids of Christ Sisters (Old Age Home ) – Moira, Goa – Rs. 1,00,000/-

In a message, SFX Boys stated it would have been impossible without the help and support of people working in Kuwait and thanked everyone for the love and support rendered towards this great gesture.


SFX Boys’ last event was a Konkani show called “AMCHEM LORNA” that Goa’s nightingale Lorna and other Konkani artistes from Goa, Mangalore, Dubai and London.

The show was held at Khaldiya University, Kuwait.
