Land Dispute, Son Assaults and kills Father with Iron Rod
Uppinangady: A 55-year-old man was killed by his own son at Kudlur here on January 15 late night.
The deceased has been identified as Adam (55) a resident of Kudlur Uppinangady.
According to police, there was a misunderstanding between Adam and his son Abubacker regarding the land. On January 14, Adam went to his son’s vegetable shop where there was an argument over the land leading to a fight between them. Abubacker lost patience and in a fit of rage assaulted his father Adam with an iron rod.
Adam was rushed to the hospital by his son but he breathed his last on January 15.
A case has been registered in Uppinangady police station.
