Land Trades’ Vidya Sankalp Back-to-School Program Supports Six Rural Schools

Mangalore: Demonstrating its continued commitment to educational empowerment, Land Trades Builders & Developers, through its CSR initiative Vidya Sankalp, successfully conducted its first annual Back-to-School Programme, benefiting more than 600+ students across six rural government schools kashipatna & Padukonje at Moodbidri, GovtSchool at Ajekar & Shirlal at Karkala Taluk and SubhodhaSchool at Panaje,Puttur

As part of the initiative, students were provided with essential school kits to support them at the beginning of the new academic year. The programme aims to encourage students to pursue their education with confidence.

The Back-to-School Programme is one of the flagship annual initiatives under Vidya Sankalp and is expected to expand its reach to more schools and students in the coming years.

Launched in 2024, Vidya Sankalp is the Corporate Social Responsibility initiative of Land Trades dedicated to strengthening rural education infrastructure and creating equal learning opportunities for children from underserved communities. The initiative focuses on upgrading government schools with modern facilities and educational resources, helping bridge the gap between government and private educational institutions.

Since its inception, Vidya Sankalp has successfully implemented several impactful projects, including the establishment of smart classrooms, computer laboratories, digital learning facilities, STEM learning infrastructure, and educational scholarships in rural schools. The initiative has also introduced the Hope Scholarship Programme, which provides long-term educational support to children battling cancer, ensuring they can continue their studies without interruption.

Speaking on the occasion, representatives from Land Trades emphasized that quality education should not be limited by geography or economic background. Through Vidya Sankalp, the company aims to empower young minds by creating better learning environments and providing access to educational resources that prepare students for future opportunities.
