Let Modi Fulfil Promises Made During Last LS Polls – Minister Khader

Mangaluru: “The election and counting process had been smooth and I would like to thank the district administration, Police department and all the voters for their co-operation. Narendra Modi will take the oath as PM for the second term. Let Modi fulfill all the promises he had made during his last tenure”, said the district minister in-charge U T Khader in a press meet held at the DCC office, Mallikatta here on May 25.

Addressing the mediapersons Khader said, “Let Modi bring back the black money from Swiss banks and credit Rs 15 lakh to the account of every citizen. The petrol, diesel and Gas prices have skyrocketed, let him bring down the prices. Let him stabilize the suffering economy of the country. Youth are going to other countries in search of jobs and face problems, let Modi create jobs for our youth. The Pulwama incident should not be repeated, let Modi see that our soldiers are safe”.

Khader further said, ‘We have all worked hard for the victory of our LS candidate Mithun Rai and we never expected such results. We respect the decision of the people. Winning and losing is part of every game but after darkness there is light. The Congress party is committed to saving the constitution and we will work accordingly. I congratulate Nalin Kumar Kateel for his third victory in the LS polls. Let Nalin get a ministerial position.”

Speaking on the water crisis Khader said, “The district administration has taken all the measures to solve the water crisis. Due to the delay in the Monsoon, the district administration started to ration the supply of water. I request the people of DK to co-operate in this regard. We have already provided 25 tankers to supply water and an additional 30 tankers will be provided. We have held talks with corporate companies to provide additional tankers. Every ward will get a tanker for the distribution of water. The government and the public wells will be restored and if anyone faces water problem they can call the control room in the DC office.”

Khader also said, “The coalition government is safe. BJP is in power in the centre and not in the state. Let Yeddyurappa stop daydreaming. BJP is trying to create misunderstanding between Congress and the JD(S) but they will not succeed in their attempt. Kumaraswamy will complete his five year tenure as CM in the coalition government.”

Assuring his support to bring the youths trapped in Kuwait, Khader said, “It is our duty to bring all the youth who are trapped in Kuwait. MLA Vedavyas Kamath has already started working in this regard. I have already discussed the same with MLA Vedvyas and rendered my wholehearted support”.

DCC President Harish Kumar, Mohammed Monu, Mamatha Gatti, former Mayor Bhaskar Moily and others were also present.
