Long line for cash in ATM may be created : Mattar Rathnakar Hegde

Udupi: The long lines for cash at the ATM may be created to create fear on the demonetization alleged BJP President Mattar Rathnakar Hegde. He was speaking at a press meet held at the BJP Office here on November 26.

Hitting hard on the opposition parties Hegde said that deliberate attempts are being made to cause fear on demonetization by holding the Aakrosh Divas. People need not heed to the bandh called by the opposition parties as demonetization has not affected the common people.

The trading and the student community has been supporting the demonetization brought to force by Narendra Modi-led NDA government in the centre, but the opposition parties in fear of being prosecuted for holding black money are protesting against the move. The demonetization move is to promote development by promoting equality in economic growth.

The mobile app launched to garner views on demonetization clearly indicates that the people are supporting demonetization, but the opposition is still not satisfied. BJP appeals to the traders and all people not to participate in the strike called by the opposition parties. The opposition parties like TMC and Communists which were once enemies have come together to destroy the people of India.

Hegde also said that the transport unions of Udupi and the schools and colleges will function normally by not participating in the strike.

The Congress Government in Karnataka has cancelled the session to implement the law and order. The government seems to be indirectly supporting the strike, he added.

The High Court of Karnataka has banned Kamabala which has hurt the people. Every effort will be held to lift the ban.

Katpadi Shanker Poojary, Kuthyar Naveen Shetty and others were present.
