Malpe Police Station ASI Dies of Heart Attack

Malpe: Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Vishwanath, a member of the Malpe Police Station, tragically passed away on Sunday night following a heart attack. The 56-year-old officer’s untimely demise occurred during a farewell function organized in honor of police staff.

Eyewitness accounts indicate that ASI Vishwanath was participating in the event, reportedly singing, when he suddenly collapsed on stage. Immediate medical assistance was sought, and he was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital. Upon arrival, medical professionals confirmed that the cause of death was cardiac arrest.

ASI Vishwanath had recently been reassigned to the Malpe Police Station, having previously served in various capacities at different police stations throughout the region. His sudden passing has been met with sadness within the Malpe Police Station and the broader law enforcement community.
