Mangaluru Gears Up for Inauguration of Special Task Force Unit and New Police Quarters

Mangaluru: The city of Mangaluru is preparing for the inauguration of a new Special Task Force (STF) unit and residential quarters for the Mangaluru City Police on June 13th.

New residential quarters for the Mangaluru City Police

The inauguration ceremony for the Special Task Force unit is scheduled to commence at 9:00 a.m. at the District Police Parade Ground. The event will be inaugurated by the Home Minister, Dr. G. Parameshwara, with Legislative Assembly Speaker U.T. Khader also in attendance.

Following the STF unit inauguration, the focus will shift to the Attavar Police Lane for the inauguration of the new residential quarters for the Mangaluru City Police at 9:15 a.m. The Health and Family Welfare and District In-charge Minister, Dinesh Gundurao, will be the chief guest, while D. Vedavyas Kamath, the MLA of Mangaluru South Assembly Constituency, will preside over the function. These events mark a significant upgrade to the city’s law enforcement infrastructure.
