Mangaluru: KMC Staff Sathyaraj Honoured with Honorary Doctorate

Mangaluru: Sathyaraj, a young Management Trainee from  KMC Hospital, has made it into the hall of fame recently by bagging the prestigious honour of honorary doctorate in record breaking during the recently held annual convocation ceremony at Faridabad by World Records University. Sathyaraj represented Manipal Health Enterprises for their recent entry into Asia Book of Records in which over 5000 people had taken part in the largest human heart beat simulation record attempt in September 2014.

Dr Sathyaraj (Hon), had presented a thesis on the topic “A study on better brand building at Manipal Hospitals through Mass Record Attempt – Largest human heart beat simulation” to World Record University.

WRU Regd., copyright in UK on 5/3/2013 and WRU has begun operating since 4/2013 with founding members being participating organizations, bringing together Record Organizations of many countries in the world such as: Asia book of records, Vietnam book of Records, India book of Records, Nepal book of Records and World Health Community.

It is a synthesis Research Institute specialized in promoting content value of the community of Record holders throughout the world. Head quartered at UK and Regional Office at Faridabad, India, WRU records, honours and thanks Innovative Record holders for their contributions for society and community.

Dr Sathyaraj (Hon.) has done is MBA from School of Management – Manipal University, where in he also set record at his institution for bagging most number of Best CEO/ Manager trophy at several All-India Management fests held in various states like Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka.

He has also been awarded Manyata Pride Award for ideating and implementing innovative branding solution at MHE.

Surendra Prasad, Marketing Head of KMC Hospital Mangaluru stated that “It’s our privilege to be in the Asia Book of Records and this was only possible because of Sathyaraj’s innovative idea and the support from all the participants which made us set the record. We are very proud of him and wish him more such laurels in future.”
