Mangaluru: Minister U T Khader’s 2-day Schedule – Just ‘Hectic’ is Not the Word!

Mangaluru: Bubbling with energy and enthusiasm, U T Khader, state minister of health and family welfare, appears to be on the ‘move’ in every sense.

If a glance is thrown on his travel schedule for Mar 14 and 15, it will convince anyone. It appears that a new word – an alternative to ‘hectic’ – will have be coined to describe it in a more suitable manner.

Here are the details:

Saturday, March 14:

8-00 am – arrival in Mangaluru
9-30 am – Karnataka Cashew Manufacturers’ Association’s Kaju Summit and Kaju Fest in TMA Pai Convention Centre
10-00 am – Street-play on Malaria in front of town hall in the city
1200 – CM’s programme of inauguration of mini Vidhana Soudha in Puttur
4-30 pm – Inauguration of the new hostel at Syed Madani College of Islamic Studies, Ullal
6-00 pm – Taj ul Ulama commemoration, Kaiko, Ullal
6-30 pm – SSF Annual Day at Pavoor Inoli
7-30 pm – Uroos at Khader Dargah at Kudroli
8-30 pm – Nemotsava at Rakteshwari daivasthana, Someshwar
9-00 pm – Nemotsava at Brahmashri Mugera Mahakali daivasthana, Chembugudde
9-30 pm – Nemostava at Bhagwan Shri Babbuswami, Nagamoole, Pavoor
10-00 pm – Burda Majlis programme at Ira Moole

Sunday, March 15:

10-00 am: Free health check-up camp at Dharmasthala
3-30 pm: ‘Hore Kanike’ procession of Cheerumbha Bhagavati temple
4-00 pm: Inauguration of the Uchila Gudde road
5-30 pm: Inauguration of the bus-stop near Boliyar mosque followed by inauguration of Gundya-Kudkoli road
7-30 pm: Uroos at Pavoor Malar Juma mosque
8-30 pm: Dikr programme in Juma mosque at Someshwar
Departure to Bengaluru.

What is to be noted is the distance between each two of immediate programmes. It will be a virtual criss-cross exercise, which would require meticulous time management.
