Mangaluru Police Conduct Raid on Sixth Sense Beauty Saloon

Mangaluru: Acting on credible intelligence, the Mangaluru police conducted a raid on Sixth Sense Beauty Saloon, situated on the second floor of Pinto Chambers, Bejai, Mangaluru, on June 19, 2025. Mr. Sudarshan, a resident of Brahmagiri, Udupi, owns the establishment.

The raid was executed following the receipt of information indicating the potential involvement of the beauty saloon in illicit activities. After the operation, a formal case has been registered at Urwa Police Station under Crime No. 55/2025. The charges invoke sections 3(1), 4, 5, and 6 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. Law enforcement officials have confirmed that a thorough investigation into the matter is currently underway.

In the wake of the police action, a detailed report has been submitted to the Commissioner of the Mangalore City Corporation, recommending the revocation of the trade license previously granted to Sixth Sense Beauty Saloon. Responding to the submitted report and acknowledging the gravity of the alleged offenses, the Commissioner of the Mangalore City Corporation has officially rescinded the business license held by Sixth Sense Beauty Saloon. This decision effectively terminates the establishment’s authorization to operate within the city limits.

Authorities have issued a firm statement emphasizing their commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring public safety. The police department reiterated its resolve to take decisive action against any establishments engaging in illegal or unlawful activities. The statement affirmed that stringent measures would continue to be implemented to deter and penalize those who violate the law and undermine the well-being of the community.
