Mangaluru: Police Intercept Illegal Cattle Transport, Rescue 35 Animals
Mangaluru: In a recent operation, the Kadri Police Station successfully intercepted an illegal cattle transport operation, rescuing 35 animals. The incident occurred near the Mangaluru-Padavu highway, where a container lorry aroused suspicion due to its unusual movements.

Acting on intelligence from activists affiliated with Bajrang Dal, law enforcement officials promptly responded to the scene. Upon inspecting the vehicle, authorities discovered a significant number of cattle being transported in violation of established regulations. The animals lacked the legally required documentation, confirming their illegal transportation.
Following the discovery, the rescued cattle were carefully transferred to the appropriate department, ensuring their well-being and safety. A formal case has been registered at the Kadri Police Station, initiating a thorough investigation.
