Mangaluru Police Seek Public Assistance to Trace Missing Woman

Mangaluru: The Konaje Police have registered a missing person case and are appealing to the public for information regarding the disappearance of Mrs. Jameela, who has been missing since May 25, 2018. Authorities are urging anyone with relevant details to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.

Mrs. Jameela, aged around 35 years, is the sister of Mr. Shoukath Ali, a resident of Baddaru, Deralakatte, in Bell village, Ullal taluk. Mr. Ali lodged a formal complaint at the Konaje Police Station after his sister failed to return home.

According to the complaint, Mrs. Jameela, who resided near Kalkatta School in Manjanadi village, Mangaluru taluk, left her residence around 4:00 PM on May 25, 2018, telling her family she was going to Mangaluru and would return shortly. However, she has remained untraceable since that day.

* Name: Smt. Jameela
* Husband: Shekhabba
* Age: Approximately 35 years
* Height: 5 feet 6 inches
* Complexion: Wheatish
* Build: Average, oblong face
* Education: 7th Grade
* Last Seen Wearing: Black burqa
* Languages Known: Tulu, Kannada, Malayalam, Beary, Hindi

The Konaje Police have urged anyone with information—no matter how minor it may seem—to contact the Mangaluru City Police Control Room at 0824-2220800, or the Konaje Police Station at 0824-2220536 / 9480802350, quoting reference number 150/2018.

Authorities stress that public cooperation is crucial in helping trace Mrs. Jameela and ensuring her safe return.
