Mangaluru: Gold ornaments weighing nearly 1.5 kg have been stolen from Gulab Jewellers at Bhavanti street here, on February 7.
A Canine Squad and finger print experts reached the spot for further investigation.
According to the shop owner, he had closed the shop at 2:00 pm during lunch time. When he returned to the shop in the evening, he noticed the gold ornaments missing and a hole dug in the wall near the safe, through which the thieves had gained entry.
The police were immediately informed about the robbery. The Bunder police have registered the case and investigation is on.
