Mangaluru: Young Woman Dies by Suicide After Jumping into Gurupur River

Mangaluru: A young woman died by suicide after jumping into the Gurupura River in Mangaluru. It has been confirmed that she arrived on a scooter, parked the vehicle on the bridge, and then jumped into the river.

The deceased has been identified as Navya, a staff member at the Alangar jewellery shop in Moodbidri. The reason for the suicide is not yet known.

On receiving information about the incident, the police rushed to the spot, conducted an inspection, registered a case, and have taken up further investigation to ascertain the cause behind the suicide.
