MCC Carries out Fumigation in Boloor area
Mangaluru: COVID-19 positive cases are increasing day by day in the Dakshina Kannada district. Two women from Bantwal have already died of COVID-19.
While COVID-19 cases are steadily increasing, the district administration is taking all necessary precautionary measures to contain the spread of the disease.
As soon as the first case of COVID-19 was reported on March 22 in the District, the district administration took all the measures to prevent the disease from spreading. Recently the First Neuro Hospital and its surrounding area was sealed down followed by the seal down of the Shaktinagar area. Today April 30, the Boloor area was sealed down after a 58-year-old woman was tested positive for COVID-19.
Because of the COVID-19 case in Boloor, as a precautionary measure, the Mangaluru City Corporation has carried out the fumigation process in ward number 27. The situation throughout the District is closely monitored by the concerned officials to contain the spread of the disease.
The MCC Commissioner and other officials of City Corporation were also present during the fumigation process.
