Minister Sunil Kumar Releases Invitation of State Level Yakshagana Sahitya Sammelana
Udupi: For the first time the department of Kannada and Culture has decided to organise a State-Level Yakshagana Sahitya Sammelana at the MGM ground, Udupi on February 11 and 12.
The State Kannada and Culture minister V Sunil Kumar released the invitation of the State Level Yakshagana Sahitya Sammelana at the Uchila Mahalaxmi Temple premises on February 1.
Katapadi Anegundi Maths Sri Kala Hasthendra Swamiji, Working president of Sammelana Dr G L Hegde, Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon, Leaders Uday Kumar Shetty, Mattar Rathnakar Hegde, Convener of Sammenlana P Kishan Hegde, Murali Kadekar, Anand C Kundar, Yashpal Suvarna, Nayana Ganesh, V N Mallikarjuna Swami S H Shivarudrappa were present on the occasion.
During the Sammelana, various talks will be held on the issues faced in the field of Yakshagana, Current and future. Along with seminars, Yakshagana performances including all the styles (Thenkuthittu, Badgauthittu) will be held.
